Kansas City has really grown in the health and wellness arena over the last few years and I love seeing so many people not only interested in it, but actively making a choice to improve their health – one product at a time.
Today I want to share 6 of our family’s favorite local KC health and wellness products.
Tea-biotics Kombucha started by Lisa Bledsoe in her garage, turned to small weekly Facebook orders (when I started) has now turned into one of largest tap rooms with up to 30 plus flavors on tap, a second tap room located in Westport. Hoganville Family Farms Sauerkraut is a family owned business that started in 2011 and makes yummy kraut to support your gut health. They sell at many local grocery stores throughout the area.
Sour Lemon Beverage is not only a small business but woman owned and operated. Callen set out to create a drink that her four kids would drink that wasn’t loaded with sugar – something that was actually good for them
After much trial and error she mastered it. The base of the drink is apple cider vinegar, but don’t let that scare you. This is a health beverage that actually tastes great. They have 7 total flavors, including their newest cherry limeade, and our favorite is the Blue Lemonade. .
