One of my favorite ways to use essential oils is premixed blends. It takes the guesswork out of knowing which oils to use for what reasons.
I wanted to highlight some of my favorites.
Breathe / Respiratory Blend
- Common uses
- Maintains feelings of clear airways and easy breathing
- Helps minimize the effects of seasonal threats
- How I use
- Bottom of nares at night if stuffed up
- Bridge of nose to help with snoring
- As a homemade chest rub when mixed with coconut oil (for younger kids I use this chest rub)
- Diffuse in kids humidifier if seasonal threats
Calmer / Restful Blend
- Common uses
- Relaxing
- Provides soothing environment and a restful atmosphere at bedtime
- How I use
- Rub on inner arms and feet
Deep Blue / Soothing Blend
- Common use
- Joint and muscle soreness
- How I use
- Rub on sore areas of the body (blend sold in roller bottle or mixed with lotion are my favorites due to ease of use)
DigestZen / Digestive Blend
- Common use
- Effective for stomach discomfort
- How I use
- Rub on stomach
OnGuard / Protective Blend
- Common uses
- Helps fight unwanted bacteria and pathogens
- Purifying
- Germ destroying
- How I use
- Daily during fall and winter months on bottom of feet
- Diffuse around house during fall and winter months
- Homemade hand sanitizer
Past Tense / Tension Blend
